The only time we seem to receive post is on our birthday and we are so excited to open our cards to see who they are from and read what they have to say. Wouldn't it be nice to have this feeling of excitement of opening some post throughout the year! Or better still, to have someone excited to receive post from you!
I have always enjoyed writing letters to my family and friends, I think it is a great way to tell them what I’ve been doing. I know they love to read them too because they write back to me and tell me all of their news!
Have you ever written letters to any of your family? Or maybe to friends who may not live near you?
If not, and you would like to start, just follow the steps below!
What to write in a letter!
When is comes to writing letters you can write them in a traditional style as you see below or you can use your own style of how you would like to write to your family and friends!
You can tell your family or friends maybe some things you have done since they last saw you and if you aren’t ready to write letters, you can draw some pictures! Drawings are great fun to receive!
After you have written your letter and shared all of your news it is time to take care of the envelope! Don't worry, if you are not able to write just yet, you can ask for some help or draw a nice picture.
If someone lives near you, you don't have to do step 3, by adding a stamp to post it, you can always hand deliver it too which is just as fun to do!
I hope that you enjoy writing letters as much as I do and I would love to hear how you are getting on!
